Until the late 1950's most small streams on the back roads could only be crossed by a ford, ( a shallow place in the creek that you could drive through) but now most are passed over by one lane bridges.  Springtime is a refreshing time of year, and as we cross these little creeks with the new life, and fresh grasses and colors, the temptation to leave the bridge and wade in the fresh spring waters is overwhelming. (Off-set lithograph printed from an original watercolor painting.)
