In preparation to exhibit in the Florida Wildlife Art Expo in February,  I joined a group of my artist friends for a plein aire paint out (painting out on location) at Myakka River State Park just outside of Sarasota, Florida.  What a wonderful place!  Every direction you looked was another great scene.  This morning was so cold and windy that  my painting table kept getting blown over.  I finally solved the problem by setting in my van while I completed the painting.
